When you snag your hotel room, your credit card is usually just a placeholder, most hotels won’t charge you until check-in. Need to switch cards at the desk? Totally fine.
But beware: if you ghost the hotel after the cancellation deadline, the card on file may be charged a no-show fee. So either show up ready for HellmouthCon fun or cancel in time to dodge the charge.
